Maruei Ryokan offers both public and private open-air baths with views of Mount Fuji. The public bath Fuji-no-yu and the private bath Fuyo-no-yu provide two distinct soaking experiences. On-site spa services include massage and sauna, plus an indoor mineral hot spring.

Dining

Guests at Wakakusa no Yado Maruei are served traditional Japanese kaiseki meals for both breakfast and dinner. Dinner is presented in the guest room or a private dining room, while breakfast is served in a communal hall overlooking the lake. The multi-course dinner features seasonal local ingredients and cannot be modified, so guests should come prepared to enjoy the full set menu.

Rooms

Every room at the ryokan is a Japanese-style room with tatami mats, a flat-screen TV, and air conditioning. Some rooms include a private open-air bath on the balcony with lake or mountain views. All rooms have a private bathroom with a bath, slippers, free toiletries, and a hair dryer.

Maruei Fujikawaguchiko sits directly on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, a 5-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Muse Museum and Itchiku Kubota Art Museum. The ryokan provides a free shuttle service from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Guests have access to free on-site parking and an electric vehicle charging station, plus luggage storage and a gift shop.

Family & Additional Amenities

Families can reserve the private bath Fuyo-no-yu for exclusive use, accommodating guests with tattoos who cannot use public onsens. The ryokan offers a rooftop observatory with a 360-degree view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji. Other amenities include a vending machine, 24-hour front desk, and daily housekeeping.
